about
BLOOM BLOOM (est. 2020) is a Brooklyn-based floral design studio founded and led by Tasha Muresan. Our work is rooted in thoughtfulness and attention, prioritizing feeling over formula and poetry over trends.
Every project we take on begins with curiosity and listening, together drawing out the big ideas and the subtle things that matter. From here, floral design becomes a way of visual storytelling that feels evocative, resonant, and transportive. We wholeheartedly believe that beauty is most compelling when it’s considered, when someone feels seen through the details.
Always intentional and exploratory, our designs lean playful but elevated, sculptural but soft, nostalgic but distinctly new.
BLOOM BLOOM provides custom design services for events, editorial shoots and brand collaborations. We’re always on the lookout for new ways to flower. Have something in mind? Get in touch.

How we got here
Floristry was meant to be a palate cleanser, a brief layover really.
In May of 2019 I’d just left my job in children’s book publishing when a florist friend offered to teach me some basics and have me work the desk at her flower shop. “Three months tops, then back to publishing … probably.” By summer I was turning down interviews and spending all my time touching flowers, learning everything I could. Looking back, this career transition makes total sense. A florist is, in many ways, an editor — the flowers arrive with their own stories, and our work is in shaping the way they unfold.
Ten months into this new career, the pandemic brought everything to a halt. Restless to get back to flowers in some way, I registered BLOOM BLOOM in August 2020 and began figuring out how to run a floral design studio in the middle of a pandemic that was very much still raging on. Maybe not my most sensible idea, but somehow it worked. I still can’t quite believe where this journey has taken me. The greatest gift has been the community that’s grown around this small studio — designers, photographers, planners, flower farmers, wholesalers, and clients who’ve become friends. They’re what sustain this business far beyond my own efforts.
Thank you for being here, I really am so lucky. If you’re new to me and to BLOOM BLOOM, I hope what you find here sparks a bit of curiosity and we get to talk flowers very soon.
xx,
tasha
OUR PROCESS
-
After filling out our inquiry form, we’ll reach out to get a consultation on the books. Here, we’ll get to know each other as we talk through your vision and brainstorm the environment we might co-create alongside your other vendors. I like to get a sense of the story you want to tell and how you’d like to feel as you move through your wedding day.
-
I get to work on a detailed price sheet that reflects your wishlist, itemized for transparency. This is a clarifying moment that helps us understand your priorities and, if needed, how we might shift the budget to highlight the elements most important to you.
A visual proposal comes after a commitment to working together. I spend one to two weeks creating a highly detailed deign deck of reference photos, custom renderings, and hopeful floral varieties. My goal is for you to feel seen by your florist, for the visuals and ideas to reflect our conversation, and perhaps translate something you couldn’t quite articulate but hoped I would understand.
-
Each of our events is custom designed and scaled to your venue, guest count, and floral vision, so we don’t offer standard pricing packages.
We value transparency and will make sure you’re confident in your investment with us before committing to work together. We want to demystify this part for you as much as possible, and will always help guide you through the best use of your budget.
Our starting investment is $15,000 for larger events with 100+ guests, though many of our weddings land above $25,000. A higher price point usually means you’re looking for flowers to have a solid presence at your wedding — a floral installation, lush table arrangements, impactful bar moments … you want it all and you should have it all.
We do love smaller gatherings and working on a more intimate scale, so don’t hesitate to reach out if that’s what you have in mind.
-
Two months out from your date, we’ll circle back to chat through changes and updates. We’ll go over aesthetics as well as logistics, making sure you feel confident about everything from color story to arrangement count per table. We have a month to finalize these details, after which you’ll be able to kick your feet up while your planner & I run things across the finish line.
-
When our team arrives at the venue, it’s all hands on deck from the get go. It’s our sincerest pleasure to collaborate with some of the most talented freelance florists to make sure your event is handled with care and confidence. We’ve got you covered — everything’s in the right place, details are thoughtfully tended, and any obstacles that arise are handled with grace and efficiency.
What happens to everything at the end of the night? We’re proud to partner with our friends at Groundcycle for all event breakdowns in and around NYC. Read more about their sustainability work here.
Sourcing
We’re fortunate to be based in New York City, with proximity to one of the best flower markets in the world and an incredible network of specialty farms. We take sourcing very seriously and have built strong, meaningful relationships with the wholesalers and growers we work with. Securing the flowers you see on your event day begins weeks —sometimes months— in advance. As we begin designing, we’ll talk through what’s in season and which varieties will best translate the story we’re trying to tell.
The week of your event, Tasha spends a lot of time on the road — visiting the flower market on 28th Street, nurseries on Long Island, and farms in upstate New York — seeing and selecting your flowers in person. Delivery services definitely exist, but this hands-on approach is essential to our process. It gives us room for spontaneity when unexpected beauties land on the market floor, and space to adapt when things don’t go according to plan. Mostly, though, it gives us a sense of closeness to our materials and the people who grow them.
We like to stay close to the flowers.
Team BB
Your investment goes beyond the flowers themselves — it supports a whole team of talented hands working behind the scenes to bring your vision to life.
BLOOM BLOOM partners with top freelance floral designers in New York City and beyond. For every event, we assemble a team carefully chosen to match our design goals and logistical needs, ensuring every element is executed with precision, creativity, and care. From concept to installation, no detail is too small — every finishing touch is thoughtfully tended.
And when the celebration winds down, our commitment doesn’t stop. Our incredible friends at Groundcycle collect our inventory and compost all organic materials, while any leftover fruit and vegetables are donated to community fridges throughout Brooklyn.
